Listeners Question
How do I stay top of mind in my email marketing and send people emails when I’m not sure when I’ll be able to open my holiday cottage business again after the covid-19 crisis?
Kim – Devonly Social
Kennedy: The thing you’ve got to remember is that people are going to want to go back on holiday again. In fact, they will want a holiday more than ever before. So, the best way to stay top of mind is to show people what’s going on in your business. People are probably a bit curious to see how you’re handling the situation and what you and you’re business are doing right now.
Rob: The next thing you can do is make sure you ask for people’s opinions when you’re emailing them about behind the scenes business stuff. This is a great way to keep your list engaged and active.

Great podcast thanks guys.
I wrote all 17 down and I think I’ve come up with an 18th for my niche – family history – which has been discussed online since the days of bulletin boards (yes I was there), so there are some longstanding places where enthusiasts still congregate today.
“Google the keywords for your niche; find the TOP sites where there’s discussion on your niche; join in by giving value in your contributions and have a link to your landing page in your sig”. This mirrors your Quora one and Gary Vee’s $1.80 Instagram strategy.
My current challenge: my email list has 3 addresses; one those is for testing and one is my dear old mum!!
So I’m building an email list from nothing to drive founder members to my new membership site!!
